TCS families, friends, students and staff!! It is time to begin procuring donations  for our fantastic Spring "Beach Party" auction. THE AUCTION IS OUR BIGGEST
FUNDRAISER OF THE SCHOOL YEAR!! It funds our arts programs, drama, music, teacher mini grants, Model United Nations (MUN) and much more!

We need items all across the spectrum of possibilities, including...
  • vacation homes and hotel stays
  • gift cards for restaurants, services and goods
  • gift baskets

Think beyond just yourself when thinking about pote ntial donations-consider friends, family and the broader community. There are so many ways to generate a donation; something that comes from
your immediate family, or maybe you ask for a donation from a business you frequent often, or you have a friend who owns a cool business, or
your parents have a vacation rental they'd be willing to donate a week/weekend to the auction.

What is amazing about procuring, is that people WANT to support our amazing little school! If you have any questions whatsoever, or just need
some support and ideas around making the "ask", please contact

CHANGE IS COMING & WE NEED YOUR HELP
Change is all around us and one change that we hope that you will find helpful is the expansion of the TCS website. Please take a look periodically to see what's happening at TCS to support our students.

Another change is occurring in the Career Center. We're creating binders to hold informational materials about universities, colleges, technical schools, certificate programs and other post-secondary opportunities. Hopefully this will make it easier for you to investigate options for life after high school. Work on  Instagram is coming.

So, Students, Parents/Guardians, Friends,

If you like organizing things, have a knack for creating web content, like writing, have artistic skills, or simply want to get involved - contact Mrs. de Normandie and share in these exciting endeavors. Your efforts will look great on your college apps and resume, and you'll help design a new marketing look for our school.
DON'T GET CAUGHT BY THE 'D-E VIRUS'
Mrs. de Normandie has shared this message with all students ...

"Life can become pretty demanding, especially as the end of the semester approaches. Please don't get caught by the 'D-E Virus' and mess up your chances for finishing up the semester healthy and whole. There are several things you can do if you need a booster shot to get your grades up:
  • Chat with your teacher and discuss strategies to get back on track.
  • Find time to pamper yourself... after your work is done.
  • Get a tutor or work with a peer to complete those assignments.
  • Let your parents/guardians know you need help.
  • Review your priorities and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Search your backpack for missing work that's already been completed and turn it in.
  • Talk to Ms. Karen to discover other resources that might be available.
  • Work with Mrs. de Normandie or other staff members to get organized.
We want to see you finish the semester and the year and prevent year-end sniffles.

Your academic doctors are trained and experienced in curing the 'D-E Virus'. Visit us today!"
