White, black, or gray mat board - the larger the better (Art Dept.)
Wood frames (new or used) with glass and hanging wire on the back. In good condition, less-ornate black preferred in 8x10 minimum up to 18x24 (Art Dept.)
People who are willing to cut beveled windows in mat board (cutting party to be announced)

REMINDER: Reminder: TCS students get discounted monorail passes. Bring student ID or transportation notice (or have Ms. Tracey print out a notice that you attend TCS) and show at monorail office to get your $25 monthly pass.

LEARN MORE ABOUT TRAFFIC IMPACTS

Here is a list of upcoming meetings across the City that are sponsored by Seattle Department of Transportation and the Department of Neighborhoods to discu ss traffic impacts from the major transportation projects coming down the pike. This will be a good place to get an overview of what

the next few years will look like with major projects launching and finishing. We will be moving through the City differently in these next few years and these meetings should help shed some light on why and what that might look like.

Beginning with the permanent closure of the Alaskan Way Viaduct on January 11, Seattle is entering a new era of tough traffic.

Renaissance 21 provides education, training, and resources to social entrepreneurs to develop their ideas into nonprofit programs.

PAID High School Internship

Help provide STEM education and a pathway to the STEM workforce to Washington State's 61,000 at-risk & homeless youth!

$13/hour, 12 hours/month. Paid training.
Recruit other HS students and lead two 4 hour Saturday Volunteer Meetings January - May.

High School Leadership Volunteer Program

Earn service hours while you build skills in communication, team building, data entry, work/study habits, task ownership, meeting organization, scheduling, problem solving, making and meeting objectives, and goal achievement with Renaissance 21 High school volunteers, coached by community members, work in teams to:

Recruit and lead other youth in community engagement with local businesses
Host youth work/study groups
Provide volunteer staff for our annual auction
Recruit and participate in the walk-jog-bike-a-thon
Build their individual resumes
Seniors are eligible for the Book Scholarship at year end.

Assistant Volunteer Coordinator Internship for Juniors & Seniors @ The Armory.

Now accepting applications for 2nd Semester Assistant Volunteer Coordinator Internship. You'll be planning the May 2019 Folklife Festival while you earn school credit.

February 4th - end of school year
8 - 15 hours/week (totaling the 180 hours necessary to earn course credit)
Learn about event planning, especially if you love music, arts, and culture
Send resume and cover letter with your name and "Volunteer Coordinator" Internship in the subject line

GETTING COURSE CREDIT

If you already have an internship, you need to bring Ms. Wyn your hours (timesheets) and complete a check-in. Do this before December 15th. And remember that if you you don't complete 180 hours during the first semester you won't receive credit for the class.

Are you interested in earning .5 credit for a job or volunteer position you already have? See Ms. Wyn to set up a second semester "SPS INTERNSHIP" and be your own hero.
