  • Fridge without automatic defrost (Science Dept.)
  • Two black wheeling office chairs (Science Dept.)
  • White, black, or gray mat board - the larger the better (Art Dept.)
  • Wood frames (new or used) with glass and hanging wire on the back. In good condition, less-ornate black preferred in 8x10 minimum up to 18x24 (Art Dept.)
  • People who are willing to cut beveled windows in mat board (cutting party to be announced)

REMINDER: Reminder: TCS students get discounted monorail passes. Bring student ID or transportation notice (or have Ms. Tracey print out a notice that you attend TCS) and show at monorail office to get your $25 monthly pass.

We have parking passes at the front desk. If you have access to a printer, we can email you the pass for the date of your visit. Just email either Tracey Lott or Kathy Webb with the date of your visit and we will email you a pass for that exact date.

Keep an eye out for your Annual Fund letter in the mail! The Annual Fund is one of two CSCA fundraising events that support the school mission t o empower and Inspire all students to positively impact our world. Please join in giving if you can!

The ASB is selling shirts, hoodies and sweatpants emblazoned with 2018-2019 artwork designed by student James Meyers!

TCS & THE MODEL UNITED NATIONS
On November 10th and 11th, the TCS MUN team participated in PACMUN in downtown Seattle. Continuing it's illustrious history, TCS delegates made a great showing (including receiving some awards)!

Thank you to Mr. Chipps and the Parent Chaperones for helping make this event safe and successful!

1ST OPEN HOUSE SUCCESS!
We had a great turnout for our 1st Open House of the season on November 15th. 

Huge thanks to the students who ran the show, Roxanne Duniway & the CSCA Recruitment and Retention Committee, and Molly Goldman & the parent volunteers who provided treats and support!

More Open Houses will occur in 2019!

OPPORTUNITIES WITH RENAISSANCE 21
Renaissance 21 provides education, training, and resources to social entrepreneurs to develop their ideas into nonprofit programs.



PAID High School Internship
Help provide STEM education and a pathway to the STEM workforce to Washington State's 61,000 at-risk & homeless youth!
  • $13/hour, 12 hours/month. Paid training.
  • Recruit other HS students and lead two 4 hour Saturday Volunteer Meetings January - May.
To apply: Email Renaissance 21 and i nclude the Internship job title, your name, phone number, email, and 2 references.
 
High School Leadership Volunteer Program
Earn service hours while you build skills in communication, team building, data entry, work/study habits, task ownership, meeting organization, scheduling, problem solving, making and meeting objectives, and goal achievement with Renaissance 21 High school volunteers, coached by community members, work in teams to:
  • Recruit and lead other youth in community engagement with local businesses
  • Host youth work/study groups
  • Provide volunteer staff for our annual auction
  • Recruit and participate in the walk-jog-bike-a-thon
  • Build their individual resumes
  • Seniors are eligible for the Book Scholarship at year end.

Assistant Volunteer Coordinator Internship for Juniors & Seniors @ The Armory. 
Now accepting applications for 2nd Semester Assistant Volunteer Coordinator Internship. You'll be planning the May 2019 Folklife Festival while you earn school credit.
  • February 4th - end of school year
  • 8 - 15 hours/week (totaling the 180 hours necessary to earn course credit)
  • Learn about event planning, especially if you love music, arts, and culture
  • Send resume and cover letter with your name and "Volunteer Coordinator" Internship in the subject line
MOZ FIELD TRIP - an IGNITE ALL-GIRLS EVENT
