During the month of November the WWLCC will be collecting donations in support of the Movers for Meals collection drive organized by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Cleveland!

Movers for Meals will help support local families facing hunger crises. Partnering with schools, businesses, food pantries and local shelters to collect non-perishable food items with the goal of putting more food on tables.

The following items are needed from this wish list:

• Instant Potatoes
• Tuna
• Soup
• Pasta
• Coffee
• Tea
• Juice
• Paper Towels
• Toilet Paper

Donations will be accepted at all of our upcoming events as well as our Chamber office located at 28 Public Square in Willoughby!

The 2023 Think Manufacturing Expo presented by Swagelok and hosted in collaboration with the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce and The Alliance for Working Together Foundation was a tremendous success!

We had a great crowd of over 500 students from several schools in our surrounding areas eager to learn more about careers in manufacturing while meeting with the 40 companies in attendance! All the students enjoyed an informative workshop full of panelists detailing personal perspectives of a career in the manufacturing industry!

A huge thank you goes out to our committee along with our host school, Painesville City Local Schools, Harvey High School for helping to coordinate an amazing event!

And a very special shout out and THANK YOU to the amazing student ambassadors at Harvey High School!

They did an amazing job greeting our guests and guiding them around the school, moderating our workshops and assisting in every aspect of the expo!

Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Awards Nomination

The Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce will give five awards in the categories of Small Business/Organization, Large Business/Organization, Showcase Award and Best Customer Service Award. The 5th award is solely based on nominations from the WWLCC Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce Service Award. We are looking for candidates who go above and beyond what is required in the areas of accomplishments and involvement. These candidates are those who have improved the quality of life in their organization, for others and their community.

Only members of the Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce will be considered for the Distinguished Annual Awards --however nominators do not need to be members.

The 2024 Annual Awards Luncheon will be held on Friday February 9, 2024 from 11:30am-1:30pm at St. Noel Banquet Center.

Nominations must be submitted by Friday, November 3!
