What's Happening April 2026

April has arrived, and with it comes a full calendar of events, new energy in the building, and plenty happening across the city.

This month, we’ll welcome guests for everything from national championships and industry conferences to fundraisers, community events, and celebrations, with 19 events taking place at RBC Place London. Behind the scenes, our team has also been growing to support a busy spring season ahead.

Upcoming Events at RBC Place London

London Rock N' Gem Show (April 10-12)

Explore crystals, minerals, fossils, gemstones, and handcrafted jewelry from vendors across Canada. Whether you’re a collector or just curious, this three-day show offers something for all ages and interests. Learn More

MEGA Business After 5 (April 16)

Join us in the King Street Ballroom as we co-host MEGA Biz After 5 with the London Chamber of Commerce. This popular networking event brings together professionals from across the region for an evening of connection and conversation. Learn More

New Canvas of Life (April 16)

An evening celebrating art, creativity, and community in support of the Multi-Organ Transplant Program at London Health Sciences Centre. Guests will enjoy live music, an art auction, and a reception featuring works from artists, patients, and supporters. Learn More

OASIS Conference 2026 (April 22-24)

This multi-day conference will welcome more than 450 leaders from across Ontario’s developmental services sector. The program includes keynotes, breakout sessions, a trade show, and networking opportunities focused on the future of the sector. Learn More

We’re pleased to help shine a light on the Breakfast of Champions, hosted by St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation in partnership with CMHA Thames Valley, as the event returns to RBCPL next month.

As the largest and longest-running event of its kind in Southwestern Ontario, this annual breakfast raises awareness and funds for mental health care in our region. Since 2007, the event has raised more than $2.1 million in support of mental health programs.

This year’s theme, Mental Health in the Digital Age, will explore how technology and social media impact well-being, with guest speakers Carol Todd and Bailey Parnell, followed by the presentation of the Champion of Mental Health & Addiction Awards.

April brings a mix of sports, live entertainment, and cultural events to London.

The London Knights hit the ice for round one of the OHL playoffs, while comedy and live performances take over stages at Canada Life Place and London Music Hall throughout the month.

Local arts spaces like Museum London and TAP Centre for Creativity are also hosting multi-day exhibits that showcase emerging and established artists. The Grand Theatre's "The Importance of Being Earnest" will show until April 12, and then make way for the nearly sold-out "Come From Away" opening on April 28.

Toward the end of the month, events like Earthfest London, Holi: The Festival of Colours, and London Clean & Green bring the community together to celebrate culture, sustainability, and the arrival of spring.

Beyond those walls, spring in London brings a lively transition, featuring warming temperatures and blooming flowers, making it ideal for exploring parks like The Coves and the Forks of the Thames. Delegates and visitors can enjoy a stroll through Covent Garden Market, breathtaking hiking trails, and lively local festivals. 

Building and Team Updates

Construction has closed York Street and is expected to continue into the summer. While access to the building and our underground parking garage remains available, we recommend allowing a few extra minutes when travelling to events.
