March in London always feels full.
Beyond the 22 events happening at RBC Place London this month, the city’s arts and culture calendar is packed. Live music, theatre, independent film, gallery exhibits, and community festivals are happening across venues throughout the city.
It’s one of the things we appreciate most about being downtown. Guests attending events here often turn their visit into a full evening or weekend experience.
If you’re planning to be in the core this month, there’s no shortage of reasons to stay a little longer. And your best resource for event details is the Downtown London Event Calendar!

Event Spotlight: Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race
Earlier this month, we welcomed the Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race (GNCTR) back to RBC Place London.
For those unfamiliar, GNCTR is one of Canada’s largest and longest-running engineering competitions. Hundreds of post-secondary engineering students from across the country gather to showcase technical knowledge, creativity, and teamwork.
| Yes, it includes a toboggan made of concrete. | Behind the scenes, this event comes with unique logistical needs. | | Oversized materials, complex load-ins, large-scale presentations, multiple breakout spaces, and plenty of energy. Our team worked closely with organizers to ensure everything moved smoothly from move-in to competition day. | It’s a great example of the range of events our space can support, from high-profile galas to highly technical, multi-day conferences. We’re always glad to see it return. | | |
Meet Michael Czupryna, the Artist behind Oddkin | For the eighth exhibition, The Gallery featured artworks created by Michael Czupryna, a lens-based artist working in London, Ontario, creating images inspired by nature. A recent awakening has drawn his attention to the forest, in particular, trees and water. This perspective has been developed through lived health experiences, the pandemic, and learning that trees contribute directly to human well being, while also forming a seemingly intelligent ecosystem. | | | | |
Piaf/Dietrich at the Grand Theatre is a musical drama about the real-life unlikely friendship of two dazzling stars, Édith Piaf and Marlene Dietrich, and features timeless hits such as “La vie en rose”, “Milord”, and “Lili Marlene”.
On stage at the Grand Theatre from February 17 through March 7.
