Passport's accounting has been around for a long time, and looks it! Or does it??

If you've been using PBS for years, you may still be using the character mode, and that's okay. However, since version 12.00, PBS has had a GUI (Graphical User Interface) option that offers a modern, easy to read-and-use screen design. Character mode is keyboard-driven, while the GUI version offers mouse or keyboard entry, with drop-down menus for easy searches, and more.

And it doesn't have to be all one or the other - you can toggle between the two versions using Shift+F12.
