Mini-Pan Mass Challenge Bike Ride
Saturday, August 11th at 10:00am
The Adult Social Committee is having their annual Mini-Pan Mass Challenge in honor of the official PMC fundraiser ride for the Dana Farber Jimmy Fund. Optional donations to the Jimmy Fund Pan Mass Challenge ( www.pmc.org) are encouraged from either riders or fans. In order to avoid conflicting with the temple camping trip, the ride will be held a week later than the official PMC. The route is the same as last year's route, starting from Lincoln Town Hall (at 10am) to Concord, with a lunch stop at Verrill Farms. (Suggestions for a different route are welcome!) This is a moderately easy on-road route of approximately 17 miles, with an option for a longer return through Concord center (total of 22 miles). Children who are experienced enough for these riding conditions are welcome to come with their parents.  Email Rob and Edda at rob.edda@verizon.net if you would like to join the group.

  • Join Temple Shir Tikvah in voting YES on 3 to protect transgender rights in Massachusetts. Two years ago, transgender equality was written into the law in Massachusetts. That victory meant that transgender people in Massachusetts can go about their daily lives knowing that they can't lawfully be turned from any public spaces. However, a statewide ballot question in November aims at repealing those protections. Temple Shir Tikvah is joining a broad coalition led by the Freedom for All Massachusetts campaign that includes more than 350 clergy, faith leaders, and congregations across the state that commits vote YES on 3 to uphold transgender rights. We urge you to pledge v oting YES on 3 by using this link--  https://www.keshetonline.org/ma-ballot-initiative/vote-yes/
