Interfaith Perspectives on Winter Holidays:

On Monday, November 14, the Building Interfaith America Committee hosts Interfaith Perspectives on Winter Holidays. Join us in person in SCI 165 or via ZOOM from 11:15-12:15 pm.

 

  • Our panel participants will provide their take on winter holidays thru the lens of Unitarian Universalists, Kwanzaa and Christians. Enjoy a free Build-Your-Own-Pasta Station from Olive Garden and other giveaways while experiencing a collaborative discussion. Click the picture to scan the QR Code to Register or click HERE.


One Love Escalation Workshop

This is the final workshop in the 3-part series to end Sexual and Domestic Violence this Fall. Enjoy a Daryl and Daryl's lunch while watching, "Escalation," a film that honestly and compellingly tells the story of an abusive relationship - from its sweet beginnings until its tragic end. The authentic depiction of unhealthy behavior into violence helps you understand and recognize the early signs of relationship abuse. The 40 minute screening is followed by a 20 minute discussion led by Charla Lauth of Crime Victim ServicesSign up HERE.

Shared Governance


Are you looking for an opportunity to add to your resume? Do you have an interest in serving on organizational committees? Be a part of setting the direction at Rhodes State!

 

Rhodes State College is currently seeking nominations for students to serve on the College’s councils for Shared Governance to represent the student voice. These students will become “council members” and will serve a 1-semester term with an option to be re-appointed for a full year term in the Fall. These positions will allow the students to have a voice in the college's decision-making process. The following councils seek membership:

 

·      Planning Council (2 openings)

·      Policy Council (2 openings)

·      Program Council (2 openings)

3. Click “Student Services” tab and then Click “Registration”

4. Click “Add/Drop Classes”

5. Build your schedule!
