THE NEW DICE MONITOR

December 2023 EDITION

My Vision

Let's Make 2024 the Year of Alarm & Interactive Video Monitoring

As we stand at the brink of a new year, it's natural to reflect on the journey we've shared in 2023. For the New DICE, it's been a year of exhilarating breakthroughs.

Through it all, we have embraced innovation: We dared to challenge the status quo, venturing into uncharted territories, and pioneering new solutions in monitoring and infrastructure services. In some of our past newsletter, we have shared about our patents and innovative features. Companies that decided to step outside their comfort zones and embrace this new vision have solidified our position as a leader in the field.

As we turn our gaze towards 2024, a thrilling horizon unfolds before us. It's not just a new year; it's the dawn of a thrilling new time in our industry – the era of combining a variety of alarm signals and Interactive Video Monitoring.

While everyone talks about video alarms and has in some way incorporated video such as video verification, video technology has rapidly developed today with new innovative solutions. That's why with the video market mature enough now, we see 2024 as the year of alarm and video monitoring progressing to the next generation.

We're now ready to step into the future, where video monitoring becomes an interactive, real-time business model, empowered to prevent incidents before they occur, not simply record them after the fact.

We'll continue to develop cutting-edge technology that pioneers intelligent systems that enhance efficiencies of alarm and video monitoring, analyze footage in real-time, identify potential threats, and trigger immediate, targeted responses.

But even more than that, DICE is using Generative Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to develop quantum operators, that will take the place of human operators and free them for for higher-level analysis and intervention. The possibilities are limitless.

The year 2024 is not just about exceeding goals; it's about exceeding expectations. It's about shaping the future of security and transforming the way we provide monitoring services.

I would like to raise a toast to the year that was and embrace the year that will be. Together, we'll make 2024 the Year of Alarm and Interactive Video Monitoring, the year we rewrite the rules of security, and the year we leave an indelible mark on the industry.

Always keep in mind that we are here to help you shape your video strategy roadmap. Contact us and let us share our vision, bring you up-to-date with new RMR video services, and help facilitate your new business model.

Wishing everyone a joyous holiday season, and the best in health, peace, and prosperity for the new year!

DICE: The Only Company Providing One Platform that Unifies Alarm & Video Monitoring and Infrastructure Services

Did you know that DICE is the only company that has a cloud-based unified platform for alarms, video, infrastructure services, communications, and much more.

Other automation companies only have part of the solution. Central stations, command centers, and dealers need to mix and match different software / infrastructure, which, when you think about it, doesn't make sense.

Chaos without Unification

Why? Fragmented tools and disjointed information are not as efficient. That's where the unified platform steps in, it's integrated data, streamlined workflows, and seamless collaboration. No more switching between countless applications. A unified platform synchronizes your operations, empowering informed decisions and driving success.

AVS-01 and Unification

This has become even more evident with TMA's groundbreaking Alarm Validation Scoring Standard (AVS-01). Burglar alarms will provide more consistent communication between monitoring centers and emergency responders. AVS-01 streamlines the process and empowering first responders with crucial and verified information.

This industry-driven innovation tackles the issue of false alarms, low apprehension rates, and risky situations for emergency personnel.

Alarm & Video Interactive Monitoring

With the rapid embrace of Internet of Things (IoT) devices like sensors, cameras, and even virtual assistants, AVS-01 leverages the data to create a smarter, more responsive monitoring system and process.

By prioritizing alarms based on real-time information from these smart devices, this standard paves the way for widespread adoption of audio and video monitoring in the security industry.

In 2024, we will be sharing more on how The New DICE's unified platform will take advantage of the requirements of AV-01 and how it is a huge benefit for central stations, command centers, dealers, and the industry as a whole.

Quality Video Streams at Any Bandwidth!

Did you know that DICE has a patented technology that provides a quality video stream no matter the bandwidth at the site?

The technology automatically adjusts the frame rate in real time. The video never pixelates and always provides a clear picture. That is vital in the security and monitoring world. The frame rate is of less importance here - we are not watching a football game. The goal is to get a crystal-clear picture that provides information and evidence of what happened at the site.

Another important feature for video monitoring is that no matter the bandwidth, the video appears almost instantaneously!

This technology is included in Matrix Interactive Video and is perfect for construction sites and other places where the Internet connection is not at lightning fast speeds.
