BE IN THE PINK !!!!!!
Preschool News October
We will be celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month and honoring our own Ms. Tosha as a survivor. On October 5th we will all be dressing in PINK and every Wednesday after that for the month.
We have decorated the bulletin board outside the school honoring all those effected by Breast Cancer. I will add it to the board on Monday (October 3rd)!
You can also join us in the MAKING STRIDES AGAINST CANCER WALK at Lake Eola on October 29th. Our team is T’s Magical Squad. Join online at https://secure.acsevents.org/site/STR?pg=entry&fr_id=103136 and click on sign up to help us raise money for cancer research.
Please email me to let me know you will be joining us, and I can order you a team t-shirt!

The Board of Outreach facilitates our church's commitment to service to the wider community and world. In this column we will share information about organizations that we at FCCWP partner with and give details of how you can become involved! This month, we will highlight Ward Chapel Food Pantry. Through pandemic food drives, through Sunday School and VBS food initiative collections, through our weekly Little Dab collection boxes, and through our specific Basket Brigade, we work alongside Ward Chapel.
Ward Chapel AME is one of the oldest African American churches in Winter Park, located right in Hannibal Square. Ward Chapel's ministry to the local community includes a Food Pantry, which operates as a Second Harvest partner site. FCCWP contributes to the Ward Chapel Food Pantry with donations of money, non-perishable food, hygiene supplies and household goods donated by our members. Add a quick browse through the BOGOs for staples to your routine when you do your weekly shopping, and you can help us feed our hungry neighbors. Or if you prefer to donate money that can be used to purchase fresh food, money can be donated through the church office by designating your donation "Lil Dab" or "food pantry."
Wondering why it's called Lil Dab? Its because "a little dab'll do you!" A little bit donated by each member will help us make a big difference in our community. The next time you enter the narthex or fellowship hall and see the white boxes, we invite you to help us stock their shelves or offer a monetary donation.
