Brittany Usiak described a heart-warming moment from a recent school visit she was able to conduct, due to declining COVID rates:
"Just last month, we spent a week with the faculty at a long-time school partner, Learning Community Charter School in New Jersey. The empathy students have cultivated through Touchstones was evident. In a third grade classroom, one student took it upon himself to save a seat and a Touchpebbles book for a classmate who had to step out for routine COVID testing; he even opened the book to the right page, so the student would be able to join right in when he returned."
