Annual Giving Campaign: Have you returned your Estimate of Giving?
|
Thanks to everyone who has submitted an Estimate of Giving for 2021! We use this information to plan for the coming year, including budgets for outreach, ministry, and staffing. While many of you cannot be with us in person, we encourage you to use our simple online form to submit your estimate of giving. If you haven't responded with your estimate yet, or even if you don't think you can this year, we hope to hear from you either way!

Consider all that God has blessed us with:
-
Review the Good Shepherd Generosity statement, which was based on your responses last year to our "Why" campaign
-
Watch the short ministry videos to see the many ways that your estimate helps to pursue our mission
-
Please submit your 2021 giving estimate - Inspired Giving 2021 - as Good Shepherd strives to fulfill our mission to be a beacon of faith, hope, and love in the coming year.

Beware of phone and internet scams!!
|
|
PLEASE be alert to telephone and internet scams. We have received information about a few phishing scams that send emails to parishioners as if Fr. Doug has written them. He has not. Fr. Doug will never ask you to buy gift cards or other items for him because he's too busy. To be sure a message is from the real Fr. Doug, always look for the @goodsheponline.org and not Gmail, Comcast, Yahoo, or any other email server.
AND...also be careful about phone calls you receive from callers identifying themselves as the IRS or Social Security. They will never call you either. And they certainly will not ask for credit card information or bank account numbers. Don't worry about being polite. Just hang up.

Online Giving
Your continued giving during the pandemic allows us to bring church into your living room each week. We love you and miss you and can't wait to be together again, but until that happens we are still working to bring you digital content, community support, fellowship, and pastoral care. Even if you are not utilizing digital resources fully, know that in this uncertain time, people everywhere are hungry for spiritual connection and are visiting Good Shepherd from around the country and around the world. Please visit the Giving Page on our virtual website for ways you can be a beacon of faith, hope, and love.
