Annual Potluck Dinner for December Members' Meeting

Let's celebrate the season and AADC's accomplishments for the year! Our December 4th General Membership meeting will feature our Annual Potluck, plus we will vote on our slate of new officers for 2026.

Sign up to bring something! Everyone is welcome!

Join our national phone bank training on Thursday, December 4 to help build a movement to hold our elected officials accountable for their vote and demand that they restore full funding for health care, food assistance, and education. President Trump and Republicans in Congress passed a budget bill that represents the largest transfer of wealth from the working class to the obscenely rich in American history. As a result, more than 16 million Americans will lose their health care. More than a million children will go hungry. Working-class Americans will not be able to afford college.

Here is our plan: We have built a list of 1.1 million Americans in 20 battleground Congressional districts who are most in danger. They can transform our country if they vote in the midterm elections. Join our national phone bank training by clicking here: register for trainingin on Thursday, December 4 at 7:00pm EST | 6:00pm CST | 4:00pm PST.

Join us for a friendly and stimulating Coffee & Conversation political meetup! We look forward to seeing you and hearing what's on your mind, Fridays from 10:00 to 1:00 in our Headquarters at 161 Palm Avenue in Auburn (second floor).

Whether you're deeply involved in local politics, or just starting to take an interest, or simply curious to hear different perspectives, this is the perfect space to engage in thoughtful discussion.

You can expect:

  • Open Dialogue: Share your thoughts on current events, local issues, national news, and political philosophies in a welcoming environment.
  • Diverse Perspectives: Connect with neighbors and fellow citizens who hold a variety of viewpoints.
  • Casual Atmosphere: No formal speeches or required topics -- just good coffee and great conversation!

What would be an ideal AADC meeting? We’ve put together a quick survey to find out what you would like to see, how you would like to steer the direction of our club. This survey will take 1 – 2 minutes. Thank you in advance for taking action to help determine the future of democracy in Placer County!

Most of us are reading or listening to alternative news sources these days. Here is one that you may be interested in checking out:
