PSA: Build confidence in your 401(k) decisions

Many people have a 401(k), or other workplace retirement plan, but aren’t sure what to do next.
You don’t need to have it all figured out, but a little curiosity goes a long way.
Here are some questions to get started. Check available plan resources or ask your plan
administrator or a financial professional:
Is there an employer match, and how much do I need to contribute to get all of it?
Do I have the option to make Roth contributions?
What kind of investments are in the plan, and how are they different?
And keep two simple ideas in mind:
First, try to contribute at least enough to get the full employer match available under your
plan, or you'll be leaving money on the table.
Second, start as early as you can, even if the amount feels small. Having more time to
invest can increase the potential benefits of compounding.
You don’t have to be an expert. You just have to get started.
