Capitol Arts Alliance: 30 Days of 30 Years
The iconic Capitol Arts Center in downtown Bowling Green is celebrating its 30th Anniversary since reopening after renovations in 1981. They have already hosted some amazing events, and the fun continues this Friday with a free Street Dance featuring Skip Bond and the Fugitives. The music starts at 7:30 p.m., so come on down to Fountain Square and have a rockin' start to the weekend!
Then on Saturday, another downtown Fountain Square resident, 440 Main Restaurant, will host a Wine Tasting Reception in support of the Capitol. Featuring high end wines and hors d'oeuvres, the event will also include a select group of items available for purchase through a silent auction. Visit the Capitol's website by following the link below to learn more about this historic building's story and to order tickets for the Wine Tasting, or call 270-782-2787.
