Remembering Kristallnacht 80 Years Later

CBD will remember Kristallnacht , also called  Night of Broken Glass,  during a special Shabbat morning service.   Guest speakers Ruth Oppenhem and Ralph Posner will  share  their experiences and memories as  young  children living in Germany at the time. Attention CBD Community Cooks!
There's always room for one more - cookbook ...
We know that many CBD members are wonderful cooks and we would like the whole community to know, so we are  creating a Cook Book by our members.

We are asking you to submit your favorite best recipes to be published in our Cook Book (Limit of 5 recipes per person).

Since this is a temple affiliated project, we ask you to respect the basic laws of Kashrut and not submit recipes that contain pork products, shellfish or milk/meat combinations.

The categories are:
Appetizers, Soups and Salads
Main Courses - Meat, Poultry, Fish and Vegetarian 
Side Dishes
Baked Goods and Desserts 
Passover

Please include your name, phone number, and information about the recipe - your original creation or credit where it came from.  All submissions must be typed - no handwritten entries please.
