Community Services Recovery Fund
Since the early phases of the COVID-19 pandemic, community service organizations have struggled with increased demand for services, reduced revenues, declines in charitable giving due to the rising cost of living, and a greater need to make use of digital tools. In response, the Government of Canada created the Community Services Recovery Fund (CSRF), a one-time investment to help organizations adapt, modernize, and be better equipped to improve the efficacy, accessibility, and sustainability of the services they provide.
Working with our partners Ulnooweg Indigenous Communities Foundation and the Rural Communities Foundation of Nova Scotia, we were proud to administer CSRF in Nova Scotia, helping to facilitate over $2.3M in funding to 32 organizations including the Antigonish Affordable Housing Society, Black Educators Association, and Potlotek First Nation.
