Kids Corner

During the Thanksgiving Holiday, the patients were able to hide turkeys for the staff to find. With clues and colorful art work, much fun was experienced this season by staff and patients alike.

We were honored with the opportunity to sponsor the virtual Out of the Darkness Walk last Saturday. We want to thank the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for being a community partner and working towards suicide prevention. Thanks to all who participated!

Staff Spotlight

Ms. Sara, a Therapist here at Compass Intervention Center, wants to remind everyone about the importance of self-care. Ms. Sara states, "It is important to remember to make time for yourself each day! Do at least one thing that you enjoy daily like read a chapter of your favorite book, listen to a favorite song, or write in your journal even if it is just for a few minutes. Remember to make time for yourself!"

As a mental health provider, we have remained steadfast in our determination to provide quality care to our patients, families and members of our community. It has been a unique situation for our staff, patients and families to navigate, but they have embraced the challenges with resolve. For others that may be experiencing the impact of these challenging times, we encourage you to reach out for support. As this week recognizes the need for all of us to be aware of our own mental health needs, as well as those we serve, it is important to invest in self-care."
