Immediate Need for Mowers
It looks like spring has sprung with the lawns getting greener and flowers are appearing in gardens. We are still in need of people to help with the lawn mowing for the summer. There are two riding lawn mowers so we will have teams of two. It can be a family or an individual. Mowers must be 18 years or older or must have a valid driver's license and an adult present to operate if the rider is under 18. Teams are scheduled on a rotating basis. So, if we have enough teams, you may have to do it just a few times during the summer. If you have questions or would like to sign up by contacting Shirley. Space is also available to sign up as a sub.
Opportunity to Provide Dinner for Pillars on Tuesday, May 12th
Changes have been happening at Pillars Adult & Family Center. To allow social distancing they have moved 100 residents to a local hotel, and there are now only 30 residents at the Division Street location where we usually provide and serve a meal. We’d still like to provide them with dinners during this Covid-19 time. We are looking for volunteers to make meals in their homes to be delivered using disposable pans. Judy Ruhl will pick meals up from your home and deliver them to Pillars. Our next serving date is May 12, and we are looking for people to provide either all or part of the meal. If you are willing to make lasagna or desserts or frozen garlic bread please contact Judy Ruhl either by email or calling 920-858-3059 after 4:00pm to make arrangements. Please put "Pillars" in the subject line of your email.. Thank you for your generosity.

Many members have been asking about how they can continue to give their offerings. There are many opportunities to give. First, you can either mail in your offering as we have staff picking up the mail. Secondly, see the link below for additional ways to give electronically. This link will take you to our website. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the office at 788-6492 as messages are being checked as often as we can. Thank you for your continued stewardship.
During these times of Covid-19 and physical distancing, the Christ the King “Knit-Wits” are still making and praying over prayer shawls and finding solace as they are knitting. The need for the shawls continues in our community at large. If you are a knitter and wish to share with others during this time, we have yarn and simple patterns available for you to participate. They can deliver the items to you. If you have any questions, please contact Julie Meitzen either by email or by calling 920-450-9252.

Christ in Our Home Devotionals

We have put out the current Christ in Our Home devotionals. They can be found in front of church next to the mailbox in the Rubbermaid tote. Please make sure the cover is replaced securely back on the tote once you've taken your devotional. Also, please note that in the tote are First Communion booklets. Those are for the First Communion students & their parents.
First Communion Booklets

Parents of First Communion Students: If you have not received a First Communion booklet, we have set out a Rubbermaid tote next to the mailbox in front of church with the booklets inside. They are next to the Christ in Our Home Devotionals in the tote. Each First Communion booklet has your child's name on it. It is important that you have these booklets as we use them during our 4th grade online meet up on Monday nights.

The Christ in Our Home Devotionals are not needed for First Communion. However, you are welcome to take one to share with your family.
