Pick-up hours for Broomfield residents through June:
Mondays: 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Tuesdays: 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Wednesdays: 2:00 pm – 6:00pm
Thursdays (Except 5/28) : CLOSED
Fridays: 12:30pm – 4:30pm

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS? We may be able to make accommodations for those who have serious medical restrictions. Please call 303-465-1600 in advance, and we will schedule a day and time for your box pick-up.

There is usually a long line at the start of food distribution, particularly on Wednesdays and Fridays. However, if you arrive after the first hour , there is not much wait time at all! 

For those who drive up , we ask that you please:
  1. STAY IN YOUR CAR and help us maintain 6 feet of distance.
  2. Make sure there is space in your trunk BEFORE you come to FISH.
  3. Allow our volunteers to put food in your trunk.
  4. Take the boxes and share any food you won’t use.
  5. If you need any other emergency assistance, please call 2-1-1 OR our main number at 303-465-1600.

Fresh, hot, nutritious meals, as well as food boxes from FISH, are delivered to homes Monday-Friday. For Broomfield residents who are 60 yrs and older or those with a disability, any income level. Other financial assistance is also available.

You may qualify for NEW BENEFITS to help with food (SNAP and WIC), unemployment, and health care. Click here for more details. This might be ESPECIALLY HELPFUL for folks with dietary restrictions who could use SNAP for special items and still come to FISH for basics.
Need Help with Rent?
If you need rent help due to loss of income from COVID, you can visit broomfield.org/bridgethegap or call 720-887-3117. For additional rent assistance or help not related to loss of income from COVID, please call FISH at 303-465-1600 and make an appointment.

To qualify for the "Bridge the Gap" program, applicants must meet all of the requirements below:
  • Be a current Broomfield Resident
  • Have a household income that, as of March 1st, was at or under 80% Broomfield AMI (e.g, family of 1 annual income under $52,000/family of 4 annual income under $74,240)
  • Have filed for unemployment (if eligible) due to a reduction of hours or lay-off related to COVID-19 after March 1.

Salvation Army Rent Assistance : (Resource shared by Colorado Division of Housing) 
Visit website or call: 855-768-7977 Monday through Friday 9 am through 4 pm 
  • Only one application per household. Amount varies from case by case. 
  • The case manager will also evaluate monthly or ongoing support. 
  • Only assisting those who are financially impacted by COVID because their hours were reduced or they have become unemployed.
  • Applicants need: copy of lease with landlord contact information, an email address, proof from employer stating the situation, photo ID. They will ask applicants for a SS#. If an applicant doesn’t have one they will still be able to submit an application. 
  • Applications are placed on a wait list and sent to case managers for review process.
  • They are processing them asap. Case managers will get in touch with participants over email and phone. Spanish interpreters are available. They contract with interpreters to provide service. Spanish speakers should call same line and ask for an interpreter.

Qualifications: Your household must have been considered low income BEFORE March 11, 2020. This means: Your household income was below 50% of the area median income based on household size and the county you live in. Please use the AMI Lookup chart to find your County and associated gross income limits before applying.
