On Sunday, March 7th, we will move to a 9:00 AM Sunday morning worship time, and we invite you to worship in our church building with us! Gospel singer/pianist Angela Hunt will provide special music. We will be live-streaming the service on YouTube at the same time for those who wish to participate remotely (it will remain online if you would like to watch it later). We have purchased new audio/visual equipment in order to maintain a quality viewing experience for those at home.

During the 9:00 hour, there will be in-person Sunday school for children in Kindergarten-5th grade, as well as nursery care for younger children. Journey will go in-person on Wednesday, March 10, 6:00-7:00 PM, with no meal. In the Sanctuary on Sundays, household groups will be seated together with empty pews between families, and communion will take place the first Sunday of each month using factory-sealed packets.

No registration is required! HPPC will continue to adhere to the most recent government mandates. Out of love for one another, you can expect rigorous safety procedures which are outlined on our website. Keep your eye out for an upcoming video, which will briefly cover what you can expect at an in-person worship service.

For those of you participating in the Sunday morning service from home, please be sure to have a piece of bread or cracker and something to drink ready when worship begins if you would like to celebrate communion.

Name tag stickers will be available at the door for congregation members to use starting March 7 for in-person worship services. With masks it can be difficult to recognize usually familiar faces, and Pastor Jennie will need extra help learning names! If you already have a reusable name tag, you are welcome to wear it. Top of the Hill will meet virtually with Jason Clark, President and CEO of Second Harvest. Jason will share about the ways Second Harvest has been fulfilling its mission of fighting hunger and feeding hope by bringing community resources together to feed people in need through empowerment, education, and partnerships. He will also share information about the ways the COVID pandemic has impacted Second Harvest's work. Join us via zoom on April 13, at 11 AM. Zoom link will be sent out the day before the event. Liberty Park Community Development Center extends a big “Thank You” to Hamblen. In 2020, $3,000 was assigned to the Center through Hamblen’s pledged donations and an additional $3,500 was given through the Covid-Relief Fund. In 2021, $4,000 has been designated to the Center through your pledged donations. We return to in-person JAM Sunday School this week at 9:00 AM. Face masks and social distancing will be utilized. Online Sunday School activities will still be available as will a Zoom link if you would like to join Sunday School via Zoom.

This Wednesday, March 10, Journey returns to in-person and simultaneously on Zoom at 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We continue with the series Bible Science. Join us and see what amazing science God has to show us.
