WORSHIP WITH US

Every hero will eventually let us down. In this series, we'll look at three heroes of the Bible. We'll discover their strengths and weaknesses and learn how Jesus Christ succeeded where they failed.

First Sunday of the Month

Communion will be observed this Sunday. If you are worshiping with us from home and would like to celebrate communion during our Sunday morning service, please be sure to have a piece of bread or cracker, and something to drink ready when worship begins.

Please Return Your Estimate of Giving Card

You should have received a letter from our stewardship committee that includes a card for you to fill out with an "estimate of giving" for 2024. We are in the process of building our budget and we hope that you will consider supporting our mission financially in the upcoming year.

To return your card: mail in the enclosed envelope, put it in the offering plate during worship, or bring it directly to Heather in the church office. Additional copies are available on the information table in the church entry. If you prefer to use an electronic version, you will find that at bit.ly/HPPC2024EstimateOfGiving. You may also call or email Heather directly at 509-385-0627 or [email protected].

Israel-Gaza War Q&A at First Presbyterian Church

Thursday, November 16

5:30pm

  • Dinner All Together ($5 donation appreciated)

6:00pm

  • Can I Ask That? Conversation (middle school and older invited)
  • Kids Activities with Ryan & Lydia (grades 1st-5th, nursery care also available)

Jer will offer some framing reflections, especially connected to his experience of being on the ground when this current horror began to unfold. We’re finding that many are asking for and would benefit from a place where they can ask their questions imperfectly. First Presbyterian Church is hosting the space to allow the questions that surface unlock some commentary and perspective that could grow our understanding and expand the reach of our empathy.

If you would like to join the discussion, you can register at bit.ly/CanIAskThatFPC.
