Songs of the Season

November 13—December 11

As we journey towards Advent and Christmas, join us to study the songs of the season found in the gospels. We’ll also study biblical characters featured in the songs that fill our hearts with the hope and joy of Christmas. Come to the Skylight Room after the 9:00 AM worship service starting November 13.

Get Your Tickets for the Quilt Raffle

The ANNUAL QUILT RAFFLE is underway to raise funds for supplies needed to further the Deborah Circle ministries. This year, a beautifully designed quilt made by Marge Cusworth will be raffled. The quilt is approximately 54" by 54" and would make a lovely covering for a single bed or a striking wall hanging with 16 squares, each containing an appliqued western boot.

Raffle Tickets are $2 each and can be purchased from a Deb's Circle member or after the worship service on Sundays in the Fellowship Hall. The drawing will be held November 27, during Coffee Fellowship after the worship service. You do not need to be present to win.

Away in a Manger? Christmas Beyond the Barn

Wednesdays, December 7, 14, 21, 9:30 AM

When we think about the story of Christmas, we picture animals gathered around the infant Jesus, angels singing, and a star shining over a stable. But the story of Christmas is more than a quiet scene depicted on a Christmas card. For three weeks in Advent, we’ll study stories in the gospels of Matthew and Luke that didn’t happen on a silent night but teach us about the One in the manger. Join us Wednesday mornings at 9:30 in the Skylight Room.
