WORSHIP WITH US

Easter Brings Hope

Christ is risen indeed! With these words, and with music, prayer and praise, we join in joyful celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. On this day, Jesus has been made fully alive, in body and spirit. Alleluia!

Good Friday, 7pm

How Cowards Become Courageous

We retrace the final days of Jesus' earthly life, from the Last Supper to Gethsemane, to his betrayal, abandonment, suffering and death upon a cross. We gather on this night to share in Communion, to hear God's plans come to fruition, and to join in tangible remembrance of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, God's only son, who, to his final breath, embodied grace and forgiveness.

Bite2Go Faithful

Whether you volunteer your time to deliver or provide funds to cover the costs of funding the Bite2Go 'kits', WE NEED YOU! Hamblen Elementary has seen a greater need this school year to provide for their students. We have been asked to provide 35 'kits' to Hamblen weekly, which we will do. But this takes more money. At $5 per student, per week, on an average month of 4 weeks, the cost is $700. PLEASE consider donating and designating those funds to the Bite2Go program. And... there are still a few dates left for delivery to both Hamblen (bit.ly/Bite2GoHamblen) and Liberty Park (bit.ly/Bite2GoLibertyPark).

Thank you!

Thank You to Everyone Who Helped with Grounds Clean-Up!

Thank you to the 19 people who came out last Saturday to rake pine cones, clean out flower beds, and trim our shrubs! It was amazing how much we were able to do in just a few hours, and we are grateful for everyone who took time to help.

We are always looking for people to "adopt" flower beds and tend to them for the season. If this is something that you would be interested in doing, let Heather Notske know ([email protected] or 509-385-0627).

THANK YOU!

We’re so grateful to everyone who served at our Open Palms Service Day! There were about 150 of us there, and over the course of an hour and a half we met our goal of packing 41 boxes of oatmeal—12,048 meals! A special thank you goes to our Oasis students who led the event! It was such a joy serving together as the intergenerational body of Christ.
