Adult Education Starts THIS Sunday, 3/1
"Intergenerational Communities in Luke’s Gospel and Acts."
Congregations today frequently wrestle with questions surrounding age: What does it mean to be an intergenerational community? How should the church engage and welcome people of all ages? What does a life of faith look like from youth to old age?
Luke’s Gospel and Acts help us as we grapple with these questions. These texts depict Jesus in different stages of life, show how Jesus engages people of all ages, and reveal both the joys and the challenges of intergenerational community. In this class, we will discuss how faith is formed, shared, and sustained across generations—both in biblical texts and in congregations today.
The facilitator for this class will be the Rev. Dr. Heidi Biermann, who currently serves as the West Central Connector for the Presbytery of the Inland Northwest. She holds a ThD in New Testament from Duke Divinity School, an MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a BA from Whitworth University.
Join us Sundays at 10:45 AM in the Skylight Room March 1, 8, 15, and 22.

Lent Wednesday Morning Bible Study - Starts March 4
"Have We Trials and Temptations?"
Join us during the season of Lent as we dive deeply into stories from the last days of Jesus’ life on earth. We’ll explore texts from all four gospels as we journey to the cross together. As Jesus experiences denial, loneliness, injustice, cruelty, and death, we’ll consider how his suffering speaks to our own pain and the pain of the world. We’ll meet Wednesdays in the Skylight Room at 9:30 AM. This series begins March 4 once our current series concludes on February 25.

Lenten Study: Prone to Wander
A Lenten Journey with Women
in the Wilderness
Lent is traditionally a wilderness season of the church year. This devotional book explores the stories of biblical women who encountered parched and desolate places. In their stories of doubt and questioning, of dryness and distance, we can find guideposts for the inevitable wilderness times in our own lives. All these women were drawn closer to God, who does not leave us to wander alone. Join Pastors Jennie Barber and Katie Haney as we embark on this Lenten journey together, regardless of gender. Books will be available for a suggested donation of $15 or you can order from your favorite bookstore.
Join us Tuesdays at 10:00 AM

Earth Care Team's Tip of the Week
Skip the aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and baggies, and put food in reusable containers – preferably glass. Simple reuse what you have. When you cannot avoid packaging, choose metal or glass over plastic – and anything recyclable or compostable over items destined for the trash bin.
