WORSHIP WITH US

With the disciples we hear Jesus' final prayer in the gospel of John. Jesus' intimate prayer to the Father models the intimacy that marks authentic relationship with God, connects us to the life-giving word, enfolds us in truth, and unifies us to share the gospel.

A Thank-You for National Night Out

Thank you to everyone at HPPC who helped make this night a huge success! We guess 400 people attended the event, with roughly 100 people from our church and 300 from the neighborhood. It takes a LOT of volunteers to pull this off and we are grateful for everyone who contributed financially; donated food/drinks/a canopy; helped set up/serve/tear down; and those who came out to meet the neighbors. If you are interested in helping plan next year's event, please contact Heather Notske at [email protected] or 509-385-0627.

Here is a note from some of our guests:

Thank you for the lovely summer evening dinner. The food was delicious, the music was a really nice "accompaniment" to the meal/event. We neighbors came out of our houses! It was special to see each other and share a meal. The church members' efforts to provide such an event are so very appreciated. Thank you for being such a good neighbor!

Sincerely,

Tom & Mary Brown

Attention Parents and Guardians of HPPC Kids

As we move forward into the future of Children and Family Ministries at Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church, we want to hear from you! The HPPC Children and Family Ministries Team values your thoughts and ideas as we help children know they are welcomed, loved, and called by God. Please take 10-15 minutes to share your feedback with us, by completing the survey at bit.ly/HPPCFamilySurvey.

You're also invited to join us at one of our vision sessions on either Sunday, September 10, at 10:30 AM or Thursday, September 14, at 6:30 PM.
