Use the season of Lent to return to the Lord and renew your Christian faith
You should have received a Lenten devotional in the mail titled "Drawn to the Cross." This booklet of intentional daily devotionals inspired by Henri Nouwen will draw us closer to the cross each day.
If you did not receive one or would like another to share with a friend, they are available at the information center in the main hallway. If you want to go a little deeper into the devotional, there are also daily questions available at the information center or HERE. You can use these personally or with a family member or friend. If you would like to join a small group, we will have two groups meeting through March to discuss the daily readings and questions:
- Sunday mornings, following worship in the Skylight Room (March 5, 12, 19, 26, & April 2), led by Heather Notske. Childcare available if requested.
-
Wednesday evenings at 7pm, ON ZOOM, (March 1, 8, 15, 22, & 29), led by Pastor Jennie.
If you have questions or would like to attend a group, please contact Heather at 509-385-0627 or [email protected].

Lenten Almsgiving
We are celebrating the ancient Lenten practice of almsgiving. Each Sunday we’ll hear from one of our mission partners and have a special opportunity to increase the church’s financial support for them. You may give at bit.ly/HPPCMinistrySupport or at worship services. By working with our partners, we are not just "giving alms," but supporting ongoing ministries.
This Sunday's ministry partner:
- Liberty Park Community Development Center is a mission of the Presbytery of the Inland Northwest that shares Christ’s love through education opportunities, community connections, and empowering relationships. LPCDC hosts a free preschool, clothing bank and food pantry, and connects families to resources in Spokane.

Communion This Sunday
Communion will be observed this Sunday. If you are worshiping with us from home and would like to celebrate communion during our Sunday morning service, please be sure to have a piece of bread or cracker, and something to drink ready when worship begins.
