THIS Sunday: Jazz Pentecost

Don't miss this Sunday when we will be celebrating Pentecost with Jazz!

WORSHIP WITH US

Join us for the sermon series "8 Degrees of Separation: The Deadly Sins and the Remedies of Grace" by our guest Dr. Keith Wyma. As early as the 4th century, Christians have counted "Seven Deadly Sins" or "Eight Evil Thoughts" that separate us from God and one another. But, more importantly, Christians have affirmed the grace that sets believers free from these sins. By exploring the remedies of grace connected to this ancient list, we will reclaim grace for ourselves and discover how the grace of Jesus impacts all the areas of our lives.

Children 3yrs-1st grade are invited to the Skylight Room for fun activities this Sunday. Kids 2nd grade and up will remain in worship with their families.

Incoming 6th + 9th Grade Recognition

On Sunday, June 11, in our worship service we will be recognizing the new changes and stages of life for our incoming 6th and 9th graders this next school year! We have student Bibles for our 6th graders to recognize the new chapter, no longer as elementary schoolers but as middle schoolers and (soon to be) teenagers. For our 9th graders, we have journaling Bibles to recognize that they’re making their faith their own, engaging with their faith in new ways as they’re leaving middle school and entering high school! Contact Mitchel Pierce at mitchelp@hamblenpres.org so that we can have a Bible ready for your student on June 11.

Caravan + Oasis Summer Kickoff!

On Saturday, June 3, 1:00pm-4:00pm, our Caravan (6th-8th) and Oasis (9th-12th) programs kick off with a Lake Day at Lake Coeur d’Alene! This will be the first middle and high school event for our incoming 6th and 9th graders! We’ll be playing games, splashing in the lake, and getting to know each other!! Contact Mitchel Pierce at mitchelp@hamblenpres.org for more info.
