WORSHIP WITH US

Stewardship Sermon Series

It may not be a topic for polite dinner conversation, but the Bible has a lot to say about money and our relationship to it. In addition to scripture, individuals and communities are shaped by the “money stories” that invoke fear, trust, wisdom, confusion, generosity, and wholeness. During our fall stewardship series, we will explore Old and New Testament texts that move us to deep and honest engagement with the ways we practice, or fail to practice, faithful stewardship. Join us Sunday mornings at 9 AM in the sanctuary.

We still need volunteer help during the bazaar. You can sign up at bit.ly/HPPCHolidayBazaar2023. The money raised will be used for fellowship events and outreach projects of Deborah Circle. Please contact Terrie Roberts at 509-624-3108 or Heather Notske at 509-385-0627 for more information.

2024 Giving Campaign Kicks Off This Week

You will be receiving a letter from our stewardship committee this week that includes a card for you to fill out with an "estimate of giving" for 2024. We are in the process of building our budget and we hope that you will consider supporting our mission financially in the upcoming year.

To return your card: mail in the enclosed envelope, put it in the offering plate during worship, or bring it directly to Heather in the church office. You may also call or email Heather directly at 509-385-0627 or [email protected].

Want to Bring Goodies for Coffee Fellowship?

The fellowship deacons can use your help providing goodies or treats for Sunday Coffee Fellowship time. Locate the card tree at the coffee and treat table on Sunday morning, take a tag for the date you wish to provide treats, then call or text Monica Scruggs the Saturday before your chosen Sunday to confirm. Treats can be dropped off before service and should feed between 20 and 30. No need to provide drinks. For more info, contact Monica Scruggs at 509-209-6548.
