Every hero will eventually let us down. In this series, we'll look at three heroes of the Bible. We'll discover their strengths and weaknesses and learn how Jesus Christ succeeded where they failed. | |

Book Club Meets Next Thursday at 1pm
You can join the Book Club for a discussion in the Fellowship Hall on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 1 PM. For more information, contact Betty Thompson at [email protected]. Our next meeting is November 16, during which we will discuss Under a Cloudless Sky by Chris Fabry.
We will not meet during the month of December. If you would like to get started reading the book selection for January's meeting, we will be discussing This Tender Land by William Kent Krueger, the unforgettable story of four orphans who travel the Mississippi River on a life-changing odyssey during the Great Depression.

Toy Store Time
Liberty Park Community Development Center
It’s that time again! The yearly Toy Store takes place on December 9. Between now and then, we need toys. The ‘wish list’ can be found at bit.ly/LibertyParkToyStore. Choose what you’d like to purchase, then drop off the toys in the church foyer. We can take donations until December 6. Don’t want to shop, but still want to support this ministry? Your monetary gifts will help us fill in the gaps on the ‘wish list’.
Please keep in mind that Neighborhood Outreach is a donation driven fund. There is no budget set aside for the ways in which we provide for the Liberty Park Community Development Center, or any of our projects. We can only support the Toy Store as much as you support us. To continue making a difference, we need your support. Merry Christmas!

Holiday Bazaar a Huge Success!
Dear Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church family,
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support of the bazaar this month!!! For those who donated items to sell, those who helped us staff the bazaar, those who helped with set-up and tear-down, those who attended the bazaar, and all who helped in many other ways, we are so grateful to you! A special thanks to Heather Notske and Sandy Riebe who gave us tremendous support and assistance. We couldn't have done this without their help.
We were excited to bring in more than $4,000. The monies raised by the bazaar will be used to support the Deborah Circle ministries to the needy and the ministries of the church. Thank you so much for your support!
Kathy Williams - Deborah Circle Moderator
Terrie Roberts - Bazaar Coordinator

Please Return Your Estimate of Giving Card
You should have received a letter from our stewardship committee that includes a card for you to fill out with an "estimate of giving" for 2024. We are in the process of building our budget and we hope that you will consider supporting our mission financially in the upcoming year.
To return your card: mail in the enclosed envelope, put it in the offering plate during worship, or bring it directly to Heather in the church office. Additional copies are available on the information table in the church entry. If you prefer to use an electronic version, you will find that at bit.ly/HPPC2024EstimateOfGiving. You may also call or email Heather directly at 509-385-0627 or [email protected].
