WORSHIP WITH US

When Jesus calls us to follow him, he invites us to a journey that is full of diverse paths. Whether we encounter ease, challenge, or change, each path draws us closer to God. Join us Sunday mornings this fall as we explore the unique ways we are led by Jesus the Way.

We are all very excited to share with you the impact of Libros Abiertos in our sponsored school, La Libertad.

Wednesday Morning Bible Study Begins NEXT Week

The Psalms: Human and Holy

Anger, hope, despair, joy, wonder, fear, longing, praise- the book of Psalms expresses the depth and breadth of human life and human relationship with God. Psalms is perhaps the most human and holy book in the Hebrew Scriptures. In it we hear the deepest cries of our hearts and the deepest cries of God’s heart. This fall, as we explore some of the Psalms, we’ll look at unique and traditional translations of these biblical texts. Together, we’ll see how these ancient prayers can shape our contemporary conversations with God. Join us Wednesdays at 9:30 AM in the Skylight Room starting September 20.

Pardon Our Mess

We’re in the process of remodeling on the south side of the building to make our youth room and room 4 more inviting, functional, and safe spaces. Thanks for your patience!

A Thank-You Note from Hamblen Elementary

Dear Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church,

Thank you for such a wonderful start to our school year! Students loved the popsicles and backpack tags. The sign was adorable, and we feel your love every day at out school. We are so grateful for our partnership and your continued support of our school. Thank you for helping to make a difference in our students' lives.

A Note to Veterans

Howdy,

My name is Mackenzie Klingele, I go by Kenzie, and I am a girl scout working on my Gold Award. I'm from Troop 1928 here in Spokane. I'm Barbara Klingele's granddaughter. I'm looking for Veterans who are willing to tell their story to help me make a book to share with the community and let their voices be heard. I am looking for women and men veterans of all the branches, Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, and Air Force. The veterans who are interested can email me at [email protected], and I will send them the sign-up sheet and be in contact with them.

Thanks for your time,

Kenzie Klingele
