This Sunday we will celebrate the conclusion of another successful Vacation Bible School with a slide show, a skit, and songs from VBS. Join us this Sunday in welcoming the families who attended this fun week and in thanking all the volunteers who made it possible!

Communion Will Be the Second Sunday in July

Communion will not be served this Sunday, but will be offered the following Sunday, July 9.

Summer Office Hours

• The church office will be closed on Fridays during the summer months.
• We will be closed Tuesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

Summer Sunday Morning Breakfasts Are Back!

Join us this summer for Sunday Morning Breakfasts starting July 16, at 8:00 AM. The first theme will be Cereal Day where all attendees bring a box of their favorite cereal to share. We will have a different theme each week. The deacons will provide the milk, juice, and coffee, plus plates, bowls, and utensils. Keep an eye out for the themes to be announced soon for each Sunday during the rest of July.

Your Help is Needed for National Night Out

If you would like to help during the National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 1, 6-7:30pm, you can sign up at the information center in the church entry or at bit.ly/HPPCNationalNightOut2023. You can also help by providing single-serve beverages and chips or loaning canopies for the event. Please leave donations on or under the NNO table in the church entry. Thank you!

Thank You Bite2Go Delivery Volunteers!!!

Every Wednesday throughout the school year, these faithful volunteers from our congregation delivered the Bite2Go ‘kits’ to Hamblen Elementary and Liberty Park Pre-School. Many signed up for multiple dates. Your Neighborhood Deacons say THANK YOU!

Requests from Liberty Park Community Development Center

• If anyone has a spare monitor that could be donated, contact the center at 509-534-0957.
• They are also requesting gently used summer clothing for multiple ages of children. Drop off donations at 1417 E Hartson.

Summer Office Hours

During the summer months, church office hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 AM to 4 PM. We are closed on Fridays. As always, staff will be available for appointments and meetings beyond the posted hours.

Listening for God Book Discussion Group

Join us this summer on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 beginning July 12, to discuss the book Hope: A User's Manual by MaryAnn McKibben Dana. If you would like childcare provided during the discussion group, please contact Jessica Munroe at [email protected]. Books are available in the church office for $18.

Kids' Zone

On Family Worship Sundays throughout the year and every Sunday during the summer, children 3yrs-1st grade are invited to the Skylight Room for fun activities. Kids 2nd grade and up remain in the worship service with their families. 

Youth Ministries (6th-12th Grades)

Each week this summer we’ll be having regular, weekly youth group for our middle and high schoolers! 

Caravan (6th-8th grade):

Mondays 6:00-7:30 PM

Oasis (9th-12th grade):

Thursdays 6:00-8:00
