Soup Supper & Christmas Pageant from Scratch THIS SUNDAY, 12/7
This Sunday, December 7th from 5:30-7:00 PM we will have our annual Soup Supper and Christmas Pageant from Scratch! This is one of our best events of the year, with great fellowship over a meal, vaguely controlled chaos, and the most fun way to celebrate the Christmas story! No rehearsal needed, just bring a soup or dessert if you can and get ready for some fun!

Liberty Park Community Development Center’s Annual Toy Store
Toy Donations Due THIS Sunday, 12/7
Tis the season! It may only be early November, but it is time to start thinking about the Liberty Park Toy Store drive! Let’s take our thankfulness and pay it forward. There are 3 ways to participate:
1. Sign-up online https://bit.ly/LibertyParkToyDrive2025
2. Grab a tab from the display in the narthex to purchase specific toys.
3. Make monetary donations earmarked for the “toy store”
Drop your UNWRAPPED toys in the bins in the narthex. The deadline for drop off is Sunday, December 7. (The date of the Toy Store this year is Sunday, 12/13.) Thank you for your support to help these local kids!

The Spokane Carolers are returning to serenade us this holiday season (minus Scott and Cindy, plus two new excellent vocalists)! Join us on TUESDAY, December 9, from 11:30--1:00. Please RSVP at the information center by Sunday. Suggested donation for lunch is $10.

Congregational Meeting AND Party for Steve
Join us after worship NEXT Sunday, 12/14 for a brief congregational meeting. We will be electing new officers for 2026 and honoring Pastor Steve’s service to HPPC. After the meeting we will have special treats for coffee hour. We will also host a “card shower” if you would like to honor Steve with a card and a special note. Steve’s last day at HPPC will be December 28.

The Longest Night Service
Sunday, December 21, 4:00 PM
It’s the Winter Solstice - the longest night of the year. On this evening, we step away for a moment from the ‘busy-ness’ of the season as we come together for a quiet time of prayer and reflection. This service is for everyone, especially:
• those who struggle with grief, pain or loneliness at this time of the year.
• those who love the joy and promise of the Christmas season, but who also remember beloved family members and friends who have passed, live far away, or who are missed for any reason.
Intimate and personal, the Longest Night Service offers comfort in prayer, liturgy and music,
including candle lighting for loved ones. In-person and streamed live.

Children’s & Family Ministries

Children's Sunday School (3-yrs - 5th Grade)
Sunday School is right after the Children’s Sermon during most worship services throughout the school year. Each week, children aged 3 years through 5th grade will gather for Bible lessons. We have fun activities, skits, and wonderful messages planned!
Kids' Zone (3-yrs - 1st Grade)
On mornings with no Sunday School, and every Sunday during the summer, children 3yrs-1st grade are invited to the Skylight Room for fun activities. Kids 2nd grade and up remain in the worship service with their families.

Journey Kids' Club (1st-5th Grade)
Journey Kids' Club meets Wednesdays, 5:00-7:00 PM, October--May. We are so excited to spend time playing games, eating food, and learning more about God in this really wonderful time together! A weekly donation of $5 is suggested to help support the cost of dinner. You are encouraged to bring a friend!
