RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY
FOR LGBTQ+ PERSONS
Research on LGBTQ+ Inclusion in Church: Are you an adult (18 years or older) member of Holy Covenant MCC who identifies as LGBTQ+? If so, please consider participating in a research study being conducted by Dr. Megan Yost, a professor at Dickinson College (Carlisle, PA).

The purpose is to learn about LGBTQ+ people who have found a home in a welcoming congregation, because most other research on this topic has examined LGBTQ people who have left churches due to experiences with sexual prejudice, and never returned. To learn more about the study and for the survey link, please see a video at https://tinyurl.com/3B3SRWAY or written information at https://tinyurl.com/2P93XY5T

SHARE FOOD, SHARE LOVE, FOOD PANTRY
Summer should be a wonderful time of year. Our thoughts go to picnics, camping, swimming and so many other fun-filled activities. But for some, summer is just another season during which they struggle to provide their family with healthy, nourishing food.

But some families will have a hard time. Rising food costs caused by inflation, when combined with the ongoing pandemic, means that many family budgets that were already stretched thin, are no longer adequate to provide for their needs. Sometimes it is even necessary for families to do without essential items like medicine or professional health care, so that everyone has enough to eat.

You can make a real difference. Donating now is so important please take a minute to give so we can feed the hungry in our area.
Thank you!

A $1 Donation Can Provide 6 Meals!
