AROUND THE CLUB

Introducing

Jenny

______________

Member since 2019

“I’ve been weight training for 24 years, and it has carried me through the best seasons of life and the hardest ones, too,” shares Jenny, a clinical psychologist and Liberty member of seven years. In her work specializing in disordered eating and body image, Jenny has witnessed the power of strength training firsthand: “No other coping skill improves body image quite like getting into a weight training routine.”

A former synchronized swimmer in high school, Jenny has long appreciated the discipline behind athletic movement. These days, her passion is lifting heavy and chasing new personal records. She especially appreciates Liberty’s mix of classic and newer strength machines, along with its wide selection of free weights and workout areas.

“There’s no better reset than lifting heavy and reaching a new personal record,” Jenny says. “It’s the perfect metaphor for life. When you commit to the process, stay consistent, and put in the work even when you don’t feel like it, the results follow.” If you frequent Liberty on weeknight evenings, you’ll likely spot Jenny with the evening “crew,” a tight-knit group that brings steady energy to the twilight hours and enjoys connecting when the club grows a little quieter.

Outside the gym, Jenny enjoys time with family and friends, discovering new places, and embracing new experiences. Like many of us, she welcomes longer, sunshine-filled spring days — but regardless of the season, you can count on Jenny to show up, trust the process, and keep lifting, one strong, steady rep at a time.

A Message from
General Manager Alan Bai

Hello Liberty Community,

I’ve truly appreciated the warmth and graciousness you’ve shown in welcoming me. It’s energizing to join a group of people who find such fulfillment in serving this community, and I’m equally committed to serving both our members and our team in return.

I believe the most meaningful improvements happen where community needs intersect with what we can sustainably deliver at the highest level. With that in mind, we will continue to prioritize what matters most to Liberty and its members — listening carefully, acting thoughtfully, and preserving the qualities that make Liberty your third place.

I’m excited for the opportunities ahead and for the progress we’ll make together.
