Fellowship and Music
Continues at FVLH!

Due to inclement weather, The Voices of Peace entertained us in Linwood Commons in August. Thanks to St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Neenah, Care Patrol of the Fox Cities and Thrivent for your sponsorship. Please join us on September 19th for blue grass music by Prince of Peace Spirit.

Thank You For Your Ongoing Support

Our prayers for several additional tables for tenant events have been answered. Thanks to a generous donor, the tables have been purchased and are already being used by our tenants
Sunday Evening Bible Class
Our tenants gather in Linwood Commons on Sunday evenings to participate in a Bible study video series called "Walking with God in the Desert" by Ray Vander Laan.

We recently received two donations that enhance this video series as well as other programs. . A large screen television was donated by an anonymous donor. In addition, a grant from the ELCA intended to sustain ministry and support innovation at this point in the ongoing pandemic was used to purchase a sound bar. We are grateful for these generous donors who have recognized our needs.
Our Wish List

Your donations of hard cover books, paper plates, napkins, de-caffeinated coffee (pods and ground), general office supplies including copy paper and writing pads, as well as cleaning supplies, toilet tissue and paper towels are always welcome.

Please click here to email our Executive Director, Lynn Ann Clausing Rusch if you can help. Be assured that we will continue to be good stewards of your gifts as we support the mission of Fox Valley Lutheran Homes.  Thank you!
Volunteer Carnival Hosted by
Volunteer Fox Cities
Special thanks to Volunteer Fox Cities for hosting a nonprofit carnival at Neuroscience Group Field after a busy day of volunteering in our community. Thanks to Board of Director members Allen Borgwardt and Gwen Schwandt and volunteer Chrisanna Barricklow for sharing our mission and volunteer opportunities with the attendees.
First English Lutheran Church (FELC)
Summer Interns

We can always count on fun and laughter when the FELC Summer Intern Ministry interns join us. Special thanks to Mary Jane Hartley for applying for a Thrivent Action Team grant to sponsor an intergenerational activity. The talents of volunteers Jim Jensen, Lois Hill and Mary Jane supported the group in a painting activity with a musical chair theme! We hope our interns can find a special place for their artwork as they head back to school!

We extend our thanks to the interns and to FELC for supporting the intern ministry. If you see one of these awesome young people let them know how much we appreciate them!
WE LOVE OUR FELC INTERNS!

Keep Calm and Go Outside!
(Under Our New Gazebo)
Thanks to our tenant Roy Bauer for donating a gazebo to our grounds. Our tenants are enjoying family visits and card games in the shade. We are grateful to our gazebo construction crew that included Pete Abraham and Eugene Doell, supervised by our past Board Chair Sue Doell.
Thanks to Thrivent and Their Policy Holders!

The Ministry of Fox Valley Lutheran Homes is able to continue to serve our tenants because of generous supporters. Are you a Thrivent policy holder that would like to support the social and/or education programs we offer to our tenants? Donate On-Line through PayPal

Due to the pandemic, many of our fund-raising opportunities have been canceled. We look forward to the time when, once again, our seniors will be able to participate in programs that are vitally important to them.  Programs that meet their holistic needs of mind, body and spirit help them maintain a quality of life. This is possible because of support from people like you. Please consider making a donation to support our ministry. You can mail your donation to the address above or make an online donation by clicking here.

Again, we thank you for remembering this growing group of elders that need our support through the ministry of Fox Valley Lutheran Homes.
