This exhibit spotlights and celebrates, through portraiture, many amazing mothers of individuals with diverse abilities. The portrait above is of Neil and Mary O'Connor. Lynn writes, "I met Mary O’Connor many years ago at my first board meeting at MARC, Inc. My first impression was wow! This woman is so vibrant, loving and caring about her son Neil, who has been a part of MARC, all of his adult life. I photographed the two of them before the pandemic in 2020, at my studio and I’m so happy to say I’m celebrating her at this year's Mothers Who Inspire exhibit. I hope she will be able to attend, to meet all the other mothers. She is a true inspiration!

“Neil inspires me because of his caring for all people. I was delighted when Neil was born, because I knew he was a blessing. I was right, he has brought so much love, joy, and pride to our whole family. He has kept me young. Neil brings joy to my life because he is fun and happy, but especially he has a kind heart. I love being Neil’s mom.”
