MARC's 2024 Summer Concert Series



MARC raised over $28,000 during the 2024 Summer Concert Series to benefit individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities served by MARC, Inc. of Manchester!

MARC continues to be innovative and find new ways to improve our organization’s communication with people served, staff, families/guardians and the community. We are excited to announce that… MARC, Inc. of Manchester's new site is officially live!

MARC's 25th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Swing fore a cause at MARC's 25th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Thursday, September 26th, 2024! Enjoy a full day of golf with us on the beautiful Manchester Country Club course to raise funds that will directly benefit adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

MARC REC

MARC, Inc.’s REC program provides short-term small-group outings and activities for individuals who are recipients of DDS supports over the age of 18, in the North Region, who reside in the home with their parent/guardian, or independent living. This service offers a wide variety of different activities throughout the community and beyond, allowing participants to pursue personal interests that were not easily achieved or readily available to them before.

VET Program Graduation

On July 19, 2024, MARC, Inc. of Manchester celebrated the first graduating class of its Vocational Enhanced Transitional (VET) Program! The VET Program is a 16-week hybrid classroom and work-study internship primarily designed to help MARC individuals transition from a group-employment setting into independent employment and living. The current graduates are already employed or are working with a MARC Job Developer lining up interviews.

The success of this program would not be possible without the DDS Steps Program, Glastonbury Rotary Club, Director of Employment Services, Annie Lopez, and VET Program Facilitator, Lucas Veo. Congratulations to all of the graduates! Continue to accomplish great things!
