MoF Exhibits, Events, & Programs

A Weekend of Art, Healing & Community Connection

Join us at the Museum of Friends for a weekend of creative restoration, movement, and inspiration. Whether you're gathering natural materials for plein air artmaking, exploring the healing energy of Reiki and Qi Gong, or hearing from an artist whose work spans decades — there's something for everyone this weekend at MoF.

Artist Talk on Art: Kenny Schneider

Saturday, July 26 | 1–3 PM

Main Gallery | Free & Open to the Public

Join us for an intimate conversation with artist Kenny Schneider, whose Small Works exhibition reflects over five decades of a creative life. Kenny will share stories behind the work, his artistic evolution, and what continues to inspire him.

Don’t miss this special chance to meet the artist and engage with the exhibition firsthand. And for our Friends outside Walsenburg, you can join us live on Facebook.

Help Us Keep the Museum of Friends Thriving

Love what we’re doing? So do we, and we can’t do it without you.

Every exhibition, workshop, and community gathering at MoF is powered by people who believe in the power of art to heal, inspire, and connect. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely on your generosity to keep our programs free, our doors open, and our historic building cared for.

Your gift supports:

  • Free creative and wellness programs for all ages
  • Exhibitions that uplift regional and contemporary voices
  • Youth outreach and STEAM learning
  • Restoration and maintenance of our beloved building

If MoF has inspired you, moved you, or made you feel at home, please consider making a donation today.

Thank you for being part of our creative community. We hope you’ll stop in this summer to see the art, join a workshop, or just say hello. There’s always something meaningful unfolding and new friends to make at MoF.
