Horizon Pines Hosts U.S. Congresswoman Susie Lee
for a Special Town Hall & Community Discussion
We were proud to welcome U.S. Congresswoman Susie Lee, representing Congressional District 3, to our Horizon Pines community for a special town hall and resident Q & A. Throughout the session, residents asked meaningful questions about affordable housing, healthcare, constituent priorities, and other issues important to them.

Thank you to Congresswoman Lee, her staff, and our residents for a thoughtful, high-impact conversation!
Going Red for Heart Health Month

Our residents at Decatur Pines and Silver Sky at Deer Springs Assisted Living joined together for a special lunch and learn program celebrating Heart Health Month.

Along with a delicious lunch, our residents were treated to live entertainment from our longtime volunteer Arthur and an educational session on heart health from CareMore.

This annual tradition is a great opportunity for residents to socialize with one another, enjoy a special lunch and entertainment, and learn more about an important health topic. Our residents continue to look forward to the event and celebrate it each year.
"Meet Your Neighbors" Event Inspires Community at Rome Pines
Rome Pines is our newest family community, located in a quickly developing area of North Las Vegas. Residents began moving in late last year, and the community's first phase is now officially full. To help our newest residents get to know one another, we held a "Meet the Neighbors" event with food, games, and plenty of opportunities for our residents to experience why Nevada HAND communities are "more than a home."
A Special Thanks to Nevada State Bank

Nevada State Bank CEO and Nevada HAND Board member Terry Shirey recently highlighted Nevada HAND's work, impact, and vision for helping more of Southern Nevada in his latest "Letter from our CEO."
With Your Help, "More Than a Home" is Possible

We believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to live well, and a stable home is the foundation that makes that possible. Every day, 7,500 low-income seniors, adults, and children come home to Nevada HAND, where they have an affordable apartment with access to the support they need to thrive. To help us deliver these programs and services to our residents, we need your help.

Nevada HAND leans on supporters like you to make a difference in the lives of our residents. Your donation means low-income seniors and families in Southern Nevada will succeed. Help make a difference today!
News That Hits Home

"Despite slowing demand and the continued strength of new construction, rental markets in the U.S. remain extremely tight. Vacancy rates are at decades-long lows, pushing up rents far faster than incomes. Both the number and share of cost-burdened renters are again on the rise, especially among middle-income households."
