A Message from Your Pastors
What a wonderful beginning to 2020! As you read through this e-news update you will see the great things happening in all areas of our church's life and ministry. We are particularly excited to see the growth in our Family Ministries and Missions! And if you haven't made it to worship in a while, you are missing out on some amazing music in both services!
We hope you will join us for our upcoming Cake Auction and Chili Cook-Off that will help send our kids and youth to Warren Willis Camp this summer. And in March you will have a chance to support our youth on their summer mission week at Lake Junaluska, as well as, our preschool kids during their annual Trike-a-Thon! We are looking forward to the spring with our annual spring picnic, Easter services and more!
Our Finance Committee, chaired by Harmon Lewis, is working hard to finalize our 2020 budget. If you are unsure if you submitted a 2020 pledge card, please contact Faye Knotts in our church office. And if you have not offered a pledge of support to our congregation in 2020, we hope you will consider doing so this month! We want to honor our commitments to our staff and fully support the areas of growth in our church.
Finally, we hope you will take advantage of the opportunities coming up later this month to participate in our General Conference Information Sessions. We are committed to keeping the whole congregation informed leading up to General Conference in May.
