Tiny Bookshelf

Our annual Star Party is nearly here, and we're super excited. As parents, we don't choose favorites, but this little gem of an event is our favorite program of the year, and we're not ashamed to say it.

While we're on the subject, did you know you can borrow a telescope from PML? Don't worry. We'll give you a quick tutorial on how to use it when you check it out. Or if a telescope is a little too big or fussy for you, borrow one of our Night Sky binocular backpacks. The pack comes complete with books for the whole family to enjoy.

This week's Tiny Bookshelf is brought to you in honor of our Star Party:

Pictured...:

Searching for Stars on an Island in Maine by Alan Lightman

The Glass Universe: How the Ladies of the Harvard Observatory Took the Measure of the Stars by Dava Sobel

Our Universe: An Astronomer's Guide by Jo Dunkley

National Audubon Society Field Guide to the Night Sky

Find the Constellations by H.A. Rey

Once Upon a Starry Night: A Book of Constellation Stories by Jacqueline Mitton

Constellations series by various authors

Interested in joining a new writing group?

If you are interested in joining a small group of writers who meet monthly to inspire one another, share samples, and discuss the finer points of the noble craft of writing, send Kelly an email at [email protected]. She'll add you to the list and be in touch soon.
