QCPOA Second-Half Dues Assessments - To be Sent July 1st
As a reminder, dues statements will be sent on July 1 via email or the US Postal service. Printed statements are scheduled to be delivered to the Post Office on or before July 1. Assessments are due by August 1st. Details will be announced in the Monday, June 28 edition of What's Happening. For more information, please click here.
The Election Committee Needs Two New Members
Two additional volunteers are needed for the Election Committee, which is responsible for conducting the annual election of a Resident Board Member for the QCPOA Board.

The Election Committee is integral to the functioning of Quail Creek and meets only as needed to fulfill its obligations. Volunteering for this committee is a great way to get your feet wet in community involvement.

Volunteer for a Committee - online (log onto the website) or pdf form. The deadline to submit your application is Monday, June 28, by Noon. Please scan and email the completed form to Susanna Ormand, Admin Assistant, Susanna.Ormand@Robson.com, or deliver it to the Quail Creek POA Office at the Admin Office, 904 N Quail View Loop. Applicants will be contacted for follow-up no later than July 9, 2021.
Dog Park Renovation Project Begins Wednesday, June 16
On Wednesday, June 16, AAA will begin prep work to start the dog park renovation project. The large dog park side will be closed until further notice once the renovation work begins. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for understanding.
Republican Club's Fly the Flag Campaign - Do YOU have yours?
The Quail Creek Republican Club has distributed over 40 flag kits in Quail Creek and would like to see an American flag flying from every home in our community. We have one for you!

The Club has made an agreement with a supplier to obtain quality U.S. Flag Kits containing a house/garage mount, 6' pole, and 3'x5' flag meeting QCPOA ALC size requirements. The pole is designed so that the flag will not wrap around it. The flag has embroidered stars and four lines of stitching on the hem. The kits are priced at $34 and can be purchased via PayPal or check. Delivery will be made to a QC address. The Club is not responsible for installation.

ALC guidelines concerning house/garage mounted flags reads as follows, "Flags may also be flown temporarily from removable poles attached to the house, and do not require an ALC Permit".

This is not a political project or a fundraiser for the Club. We hope that all residents will participate. Click for details and payment options.
American Red Cross Blood Drive, Sunday, July 11, Silver Rooms, 8 AM

Celebrate Father's Day with the Diamondbacks and the Dodgers! Tickets are $81, which includes a game ticket in Baseline Section #111, snack, bottled water, transportation on a Gray Line coach (w/restroom), driver & gratuity. The Bus boards at 9:30 AM. Game tickets will be handed out at Chase Field. The deadline to purchase tickets has been extended to Monday, June 14 at 2 PM. Common Areas Update - June 2021
  • Work has started in Unit 15 and will continue through Units 20 & 21.
  • Monday, June 14 - Palm Tree trimming will begin at the Anza Athletic Club pool area. The lap pool, spa, and recreation pool will be closed in the morning until the work is complete. We plan to be re-opened by noon.  Palm tree trimming will continue throughout the community.  
  • Wednesday, June 16 - AAA will begin prep work to start the dog park renovation project. The large dog park side will be closed until further notice once the renovation work begins.  
  • New turf areas to be added in 35A Villas and Unit 35B
  • Saturday, June 12 - Thatching of the small turf areas including aeration of all lawns will be completed by this date.
  • Rebuild the small lawn along Quail Crossing Blvd by the Main Gate
  • The heat is coming; plants and trees will not grow as quickly as in the winter months

Architectural & Landscape Committee / 520 393-5803
ALC approval is required for work that in any way alters the exterior appearance of a homeowner's home, property, and/or landscape within residential areas of the development. Please contact the ALC if you are not sure if a project requires a permit.
 
The ALC Office is located at the Quail Creek Administrative Building at 904 N Quail View Loop. ALC Business hours are Monday thru Friday 8 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 4 PM. The Drop Box by the front door is open 24/7. Appointments can be scheduled by contacting the ALC Clerk at QCALC@Robson.com. Face Masks are recommended, not required when entering the POA facilities.
 
Completed and signed ALC Permit Applications, along with two copies of the project plans/drawings and Town of Sahuarita permits (where applicable) can be hand-delivered or mailed to the ALC Office. A $10.00 cash or check permit review fee must be submitted with each ALC permit application; however the permit review fee for casitas, garages, pools, spas and initial landscaping is $25.00. Checks should be made out to “QCCC”.
 
Submittals must be received on Tuesday by 3:00 PM. If nothing is missing from your permit application, you will receive an approved permit on Thursday. Approved permits will be available for pick up at the ALC Office starting at 1 PM on Thursday afternoon.
 
The ALC meets every Thursday morning at 9:00 AM in the Madera Clubhouse Gold Room.

  • Update Profile - Use to CHANGE (subscribe or unsubscribe) to one or more newsletters, update your email, or other information.
