Pickleball Courts

Parking in Construction Area

While the Pickleball Courts are being constructed, residents and guests are reminded that this is a construction area and is not to be used for parking. Cars are being parked on the newly poured courts which can cause damage to the surface and delay construction. Please continue to park in the upper parking lot.

Reminder to Pick up Dog Poop!

It is important to pick up after your dog for many reasons. Dog poop is unsightly, smelly, and can be hazardous to the health of people and other pets. It can also pollute water bodies and spread diseases.

Here are some tips for picking up dog poop:

  • Always carry poop bags with you when you walk your dog.
  • Scoop up the poop immediately after your dog goes.
  • If the poop is on a hard surface, you can use a tissue or napkin to pick it up first.
  • Tie the poop bag securely and dispose of it in your own trash can ordesignated bin at the dog park.

Thank you for being a responsible pet owner!

Dog Park Closed for

Overseed Operations

The entire dog park will be closed for over-seeding starting Monday, September 18. This process involves lowering the height of the mower, reseeding and watering the new lawn until maturity. Once completed, the dog park users will enjoy a green, winter lawn. Residents will be notified when the dog park reopens after the first cut of the new lawn. The length of the closure does depend on weather conditions. Additional information will be provided as time draws closer to the projected re-opening date. Thank you for your patience during the closure.

During overseed, please visit one of our neighboring parks:

Named one of the top ten tribute bands in the world by Backstage Magazine, Mick Adams and The Stones are an authentic recreation of The Rolling Stones, live in concert.

Endorsed by former Atlantic Records President, Jerry Greenberg, Ryan Seacrest, and Mark Cuban, this band must be seen to be believed! According to Jerry, “It doesn’t get any closer than this!” Mick Adams and the Stones have been featured twice on National TV’s The World's Greatest Tribute Bands and were the only band chosen by Mark Cuban out of seven seasons of the television show to perform a private concert for Comcast and AXS Television in January. This exciting seven-piece, live recreation of The Stones in concert, features look-alike performers, multiple costume changes, full choreography, and an all-new media show. Formed in 2007 and hailed worldwide as, “The Ultimate Aerosmith Tribute Experience.” AEROMYTH has achieved a level of success and notoriety nearly unheard of in the Tribute community. Paying their dues and honing their craft for well over a decade, the band has performed countless shows. Touring internationally with venues ranging in size from clubs and theaters straight up to Dodger Stadium, they have defined themselves through a combination of stellar live performance re-creations, uncanny physical likeness and unparalleled musicianship. The band’s only objective is very simply “The suspension of disbelief while remaining true to the undeniable spirit of America’s greatest Rock band”.

ALC Requirements & Permits

Meetings: 2nd & 4th Thursday at 9:00 AM in Silver Room #1 of the Madera Clubhouse. Changes to the schedule are posted in What's Happening.

WEEDS, WEEDS, WEEDS!

It’s that time of year, towards the end of our monsoon season that the weeds start to take over our landscape. Now is the time to use post-emergent to kill the existing weeds. ALC also strongly suggests you should have pre-emergent herbicide to retard germination in weeds starting in January, prior to the winter rains. Keep sidewalks clear, and free from overhanging into neighbor and common areas.

The governing documents that the homeowner is responsible for keeping their lots free from weeds and trash. Trimmed so that shrubs or plants do not interfere with utility boxes, standards, or fire hydrants.

Please reach out to the ALC at 520-393-5803, should you have any questions. We are happy to help!
