This July, thousands of fans will come together with fellow Tenno from across the world to celebrate the game of Warframe at TennoCon2024.
This year’s sold-out show once again returns to RBC Place London — with the event spanning two days for the first time ever! The fun begins with a special 1999-themed event on Day 1 exclusively for TennoVIP! Day 2 will feature live workshops, a cosplay contest, outdoor marketplace, and conclude with the main event: TennoLive.

A FAREWELL NOTE FROM LORI | |
Dear Community...
As this is my final opportunity to share some thoughts as the CEO of RBC Place London, I want to take a couple of moments to reflect back, before looking forward. I joined the London Convention Centre Corporation in January 2006, 18.5 years ago. Some days it feels like forever, and other days it seems like just yesterday!
I chatted with colleagues and community members before joining the team in 2006, and the message I received was that the convention centre was vitally important to the community but that we needed to improve in a couple of areas. I was told the centre needed to measure and share successes, become more financially stable, and operate with greater flexibility.

With the exception of the pandemic years, I am proud to report that RBCPL has been operationally self-sufficient, with a measured increase in the annual economic impact to $22.6 million in 2023. Guest and team survey scores are also measured, shared and incredibly positive. The entire first floor was renovated and modernized to be more flexible and welcoming; the 2nd floor upgraded twice with very flexible Wi-Fi coverage; and now the King St patio has been modernized with amazing light flexibility, and a perfect outdoor setting for a more flexible venue. RBC Place London is celebrating the 5-year anniversary of the naming partnership with RBC, another indication of flexibility. RBCPL has delivered, and I am taking away so many great memories of these accomplishments.
The most positive memories come from the events hosted at RBCPL. The conferences, social functions, dance competitions and tradeshows. So many memories of exceptional experiences created and enjoyed by guests! And so many great memories of the team dedication and execution behind the scenes. Unique set-ups with amazing food and service, all due to the exceptionally talented team. It is the people and these moments that are the dearest memories. The team, the clients, the partners, agencies, City and Council, all working together to support event experiences.
The RBCPL boards and venue leadership teams over the years have supported, challenged, and certainly taught me a great deal. There is always room to learn and grow and remain flexible and adaptable. Under Darrin Pollard’s leadership, the organization will continue to provide event organizers with an amazing venue partner.
I have enjoyed a wonderful 40-year career in London’s hospitality industry, and I am fortunate to be leaving for new adventures – more time for family, travelling, gardening, and joining an association or two!
Signing off one last time!
