Join us as we Light up Rotary Hospice with Love this Season!

As we enter the holiday season, Lights of Love offers a meaningful way to honour and remember those who hold a special place in our hearts. This outdoor lighting and remembrance ceremony brings our community together in a quiet, heartfelt moment of reflection and connection.

With a donation, you can dedicate a light in honour or in memory of someone special. Your dedication message will be included in our slideshow during the ceremony and shared on our website, extending the circle of remembrance beyond the evening itself.

As the lights surrounding Rotary Hospice begin to glow, each one represents a life, a story, and the love that endures. We invite you to join us as we light up the hospice grounds for the season, warming the winter night with collective love and remembrance.

Our Fall Print Newsletter is Ready to Share!

Due to the ongoing Canada Post labour action, delivery of physical copies of our newsletter has been delayed.

This issue highlights the many ways hospice care extends beyond our residence and into the community through outreach, grief support, and compassionate programs for all who need them. We don't want you to miss it, so please click the link below to read the full issue. If you know someone who could benefit from this information, please feel free to share it with them, and keep an eye out for copies in your local coffee shops and libraries.

Date: Thursday, December 4th at 7 pm

Location: Online via Zoom

Free Registration: email sw@rotaryhospice.ca

Whether your loss is recent or long-standing, all are welcome to attend. Please feel free to share this offering with anyone who may benefit.

Bringing Hospice Awareness to our Community

"I wish we'd come here sooner..." is a sentiment that is often shared with our social workers.

Many people don't realize what hospice care truly offers - or even that there is a hospice right here in our community.

Our team is committed to spreading awareness through informative presentations at local community groups, clubs, churches, and workplaces. These sessions provide an opportunity to learn about the compassionate, specialized care hospice offers to individuals and their loved ones facing end-of-life journeys.

From understanding when hospice care is an option to exploring our grief support and advanced care planning, our presentations help answer important questions and dispel common misconceptions.

By reaching more people, we hope to ensure that when the time comes, community members know that they are not alone and that compassionate support is available.

If your organization or workplace is interested in hosting a presentation, we would love to connect!

Please contact Lucie at lucie@rotaryhospice.ca or 519-508-4900 ext. 720

We look forward to connecting with you!
