Health Information Sessions
Health Services will host information sessions for prospective students. All sessions will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. The next session will be held on February 13, in Room 607 on the Fredd Campus. Future sessions are scheduled for the month of April.

C.A. Fredd Bucs Café
Invite someone special to enjoy a gourmet Valentine's Day lunch at the C.A. Fredd Campus Bucs Café on Wednesday, February 14, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The café is located in Building 700. There will also be a drawing for a free lunch.

Green Goes Red
All SSCC faculty, staff, and students on the Fredd and Martin campuses are asked to wear red on Wednesday, February 14, as "Green Goes Red" to spotlight the fight against heart disease and stroke!

Audition Announcement
Theatre Tuscaloosa will hold auditions for The Diviners on February 19 and 20 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Wilson Carr Rehearsal Hall on the Martin Campus.

UA Summer Programs
The University of Alabama is seeking applicants for its 2024 Summer Programs. Participants will receive a $5,680 stipend, free housing, and ten weeks of research experience.
The deadline to apply is March 1, 2024.

Spring 2024 Dual Enrollment Honors List

Psi Beta Sock Drive
SSCC Psi Beta members collected over 70 pairs of socks for Temporary Emergency Services of West Alabama. Socks are frequently overlooked as an essential donation item, resulting in them being the most required yet the least contributed. Keep up the great work, Psi Beta!

SOAR Workshops
Do you need help with your writing? Join the SOAR Institute throughout the semester for workshops to help improve your writing skills. All sessions will be held in SOAR on the first Tuesday of the month at 12:00 p.m. The next session will be held on March 5.

Community Involvement Opportunities
The Tuscaloosa Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is excited to announce its 2024 African American Book Drive. Donations can be made via the group's wishlist below.
The community is also invited to participate in the 35th Annual African American Read-In. The Read-In will be held on February 25 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Wynn Humanities and Fine Arts Center, Stillman College.
