All ages formation this Sunday at 10:15!

The Saint Stephen's Soil Sisters will be hosting Sunday formation with an all-ages Care of Creation activity. There will be potting stations for all to enjoy under the covered breezeway on the patio. Children are encouraged to wear play or "garden" clothes and each family will create a wonderful pot to take home. The Soil Sisters will be at each station to assist, should the need arise.

No regular formation classes this Sunday. Everyone come to the patio!

Head outside together and notice the beauty of fall as a family. See how many of these items you can find on a short walk. What else do you see?

New Parenting Class

Join Katie White, LPC-S, CEDS, and Anne Burruss, LPC, for a study of Your Dieting Daughter by Carolyn Costin. We will explore body image, food, weight, self-esteem, and eating disorders in girls and young women. Together, we will discuss ways to help young people develop a healthy relationship with food and their bodies, while learning how to model positive attitudes and support healthy self-esteem. You can read all of the group details here.

We will gather on every other Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:00 PM in the St. Stephen’s library.

Oct. 21, Nov. 4 & 18, Dec. 2 & 16.

There are 10 spots available, please register here.

Save the date and start planning your costumes and trunks! Please help us make Trunk or Treat a fun night by signing up to decorate your trunk, donate baked goods, help at game, or one of the many ways to participate!

All children are part of the Saint Stephen's Children's Choir! We practice with Miss Whitney at the beginning of the formation hour on Sunday mornings. We have two Children's Choir offerings that we are learning. We will be sharing them on October 25 and November 8 at the 9:00 service.

If your 1st-6th grader would like more music time with Miss Whitney, they are invited to join Music Makers on Sunday afternoons! Music Makers meets from 12:30-1:00 in the Children's Choir Room (Room 143 ground floor under the Parish Hall). Children in 1st through 6th grades are welcome to join us! We will be learning the musical accompaniments we will use with upcoming anthems that our children's choir will share during upcoming services.

Sunday formation classes have started back for all ages! Join us!

Things to know for Sunday mornings:

Bring your child to their classroom in Carpenter Hall. Check the sign in the front hall to direct you to the correct location.

Please pick your child up in their classroom at 11:00. Children are not allowed to leave the building on their own for safety reasons!

Please register your children in 4K-6th grades to help us put them in the correct classroom. Nursery children do not need to register. Please consider helping in children's ministry this year when you register your children. We can always use more helpers in the formation classes, and you can choose your availability!

Faith is best learned when woven through the fabric of every day life. Parents of young children will build a toolkit of simple practices in this class to create sacred moments at home. See the prayers below to use at home.

Amy Neiman, LCSW, will join us this fall to share wisdom for parenting our tweens and teens. If you have a tween/teen or are approaching these years, please join us!
