Lutheran Disaster Response – Hurricane Response
Hurricane Ida made landfall near New Orleans on Aug. 30 – exactly 16 years after Hurricane Katrina. On Sept. 1, the remnants of Hurricane Ida barreled through the Northeast, leaving devastation in their wake. Donations are being accepted for victims of the hurricane through Lutheran Disaster Response by making a check payable to St. Matthew’s, with “U.S. Hurricanes” marked on the envelope OR you may click here to go online to St. Matthew's website and look under ELCA and put your amount in LDR -Disaster Relief. 100% of your donation will be used for this disaster until the response is complete.
